Morning Devotion: God's Love and Compassion



Happy Thursday...The Lord will carry you in the power of His love, all the days of your life!

A Prayer:

Thank You Heavenly Father for Your tender compassion. Your unfailing love is steadfast and amazing and cannot be fathomed with human strength. As Your servant, the Apostle Paul prayed, we ask that You grant us, according to the riches of Your glory, to be strengthened with might through Your Spirit in the inner man, so that Christ may dwell in our hearts through faith; that we, being rooted and grounded in love, may be able to comprehend with all the saints what is the width and length and depth and height—to know the love of Christ which passes knowledge; that we may be filled with all the fullness of God. 

Now to You who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, to You be glory in the church by Christ Jesus to all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

As we love in words and deeds, we are making the world a brighter place!  We have a heavenly treasure in our earthen vessels—The love of God has been shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. We are useful to God despite our fragile nature. Let us dispense from our treasure chest, the gifts of kindness, doing all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, giving thanks to God and the Father by him.

We have the power within to make a difference in the world. Let the eternal flame of God’s love fill our torches even after our days in the arena of life are over.
